Badham Pharmacy to celebrate 75 years with grand reopening and unveiling of celebratory plaque

BADHAM PHARMACY TO CELEBRATE 75 YEARS WITH GRAND REOPENING AND UNVEILING OF CELEBRATORY PLAQUE
Saturday 17th October 2015 marks the 75th Anniversary of the founding of Badham Pharmacy Ltd. Badham Pharmacy was founded by Richard Guillimont Badham when he opened his first shop at 102 Whaddon Road, Cheltenham. To mark this occasion, Alex Chalk, MP for Cheltenham, will be reopening the branch at 102 Whaddon Road, Cheltenham at 11am to which members of the public are invited. He will also be unveiling a celebratory plaque in commemoration of Richard Guillimont Badham.
Since that time, the company has grown by means of acquisitions and the opening of new branches. It now comprises 16 branches within Gloucestershire and Avon and also has a dedicated Mobility outlet at the St Pauls Medical Centre.
Peter Badham, Managing Director said “We are delighted that Alex Chalk is able to celebrate this achievement with us and some of our customers. 75 years of exceptional service is a milestone to be celebrated.”
Badham Pharmacy will also be giving away a free celebration bag in their shops on this day with all purchases over £5.00 (excluding prescription charges and while stocks last). In the evening they will be holding a Gala Dinner and Excellence Awards event for staff and invited guests.
Badham Pharmacy recently won the Family Business of the Year Award at the Gloucestershire Business Awards 2015 and were finalists in the National Pharmacy Business Awards 2015.
