Body Mass Indicator (BMI) Check

Overview

This free service accurately measures the patients weight and height. Together these values are used to establish the patients body mass index. The trained pharmacy staff will provide all patients with information on what their BMI result means and, if needed, how best to improve their result. This service will be carried out in the private consultation room.

Benefits

The BMI check is a simple and effective measure to find out if a person has a healthy weight. No appointment is needed for this service and each patient can have their BMI checked on several occasions if they wish, for example if the patient has changed to a more healthy diet to reduce their BMI reading.
